As temperatures are cooling down, show season is heating up. Perhaps no show is more anticipated than the All American Quarter Horse Congress. The event will be held October 1 – 25, 2015, at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio. The event is the largest single-breed horse show in the world.

The show has a proud history dating back to 1967. The first show boasted attendance by 5,000 horsemen and women. Over the years, those numbers have grown. This year, it is expected to draw over 650,000 visitors.

Special events will include:

• Mecuria World Series and Bridleless Cutting Finals – October 8, 2015 starting at 6:00pm.
• Professional Bull Riding Touring Pro – October 9, 2015 beginning at 7:00pm.
• Freestyle Reining – October 10, 2015 starting at 7:00pm.

Continuing to build on its proud history, this year’s show facility will include a new 1,000 stall barn to help accommodate the 6,500 horses expected. Nearly $3 million dollars in cash and prizes are expected to be awarded, as well.
