With all the variety of boots available, it can be hard to decide which pair is right for you! The best way to start is to think about what you’ll need the boots for. There are 3 things to consider when purchasing a new pair of boots.

1. Toe Style

There are four main types of toe styles. Each style is best suited for a certain wearer and situation.

Wide Square Toe: Very popular for men, this style will likely remain popular for many years to come. It’s a fairly casual toe style.

Round Toe: This traditional style is a classic for both men and women.

Snip Toe: This style can cover dressy and casual situations. This is a versatile favorite for many women.

Pointed Toe: This is another style that’s very popular among women, and it’s the easiest to dress up.

2. Height

When thinking about heel hight, decide if you want a taller western heel or a flatter walking heel. The height of the boot itself is a good consideration as well—it might help to try on different boot heights to see what works best with your frame.

Another question to ask yourself is what you’ll be wearing the boots with. Do you want to wear them under jeans or slacks, with skirts, or with leggings tucked in?

3. Color
